This project should be opposed

To the Editor:

We are writing in regards to the proposed Public Service Electric & Gas Co.
Susquehanna-Roseland Transmission Project. As Parsippany Township residents, my wife and I are strongly opposed to this project, because we will be adversely affected by its construction and future operation. We are very concerned about property values decreasing, and most importantly, the health of our young family. It seems that the new transmission towers may be running directly behind our home.

According to the literature that we have received, the project seems unnecessary,
old-fashioned and detrimental. Not to mention, we will not even reap any of the energy benefits, being that it is destined for other states. Using our backyard as a pass-through, gambles with our safety, health, and landscape. Please help us in our efforts by making our voices heard on this unsafe and destructive project.
